| Project Scope & Services Provided: | Challenge: We were approached by the manufacturing plant of a leading industrial gasses company headquartered in France for providing securing solutions for their export cargo. The company was working on a large project to manufacture and export cold boxes and accessories. They wanted a solution to ensure that there is no damage to the cargo, especially, surface protection as due to the size of the cargo it was supposed to be shipped on weather decks of the vessel exposing it to the climatic vagaries. Solution: SAS proposed shrink wrapping of the cargo with Dr shink premium shrink wrap as it was the most secure and cost effective packing solution for large volume cargos and moreover over the years a lot of large boats and skids have been safely transported with Dr Shink wrapping all around world. The material samples were sent to their headquarters in France and approval was obtained for the materials as well as packing procedure. Results: The Shirk wrapping project was successfully completed on time. This success helped SAS International extend its market footprint in the oil and gas sector in the UAE. |
