| Project Scope & Services Provided: | Challenge: SAS was entrusted to secure an IGF package for storage at Jebel Ali Free Zone as the project was delayed and cargo was supposed to be stored at the manufacturers premises for an year before being shipped to its final destination. There was an imminent prediction of bad weather and the client wanted to secure the skid asap. Solution: SAS proposed shrink wrapping of the cargo with Dr Shrink wrap. The client was initially apprehensive whether such a big skid could be shrink wrapped in a short time and whether the wrapping can withstand heavy rains and storms. The client was given a 2 year warranty for the wrapping to assure them of our product quality and workmanship. Results: The skid was successfully secured and packed with Dr Shrink wrap within a record time of 4 – 5 days in spite of windy conditions, establishing SAS International as a leader in shrink wrapping jobs. The project was completed 2 days, ahead of the 1-week schedule, winning the customer’s confidence for future tenders. |
