| Project Scope & Services Provided: | Challenge: We were approached by the building contractors of a very prestigious Higher Education institution in the Middle East to cover the openings in their under-construction building. The planned façade glasses to cover the openings in the building were delayed by a month from the supplier. The contractors wanted to enclose the building to operate the Air Conditioning system which was required to carry on with the interior works. They could not wait for the glasses to arrive as the university was supposed to be inaugurated in early September. Solution: In collaboration with Dr. Shrink USA SAS International covered all the openings in the under construction including the large atrium on top with Dr. Shrink Premium Shrink Wrap and ensured that the Air Conditioning system could be operated. Results: All the openings in the under construction building was closed in record time working day and night which enabled working of the AC system. As a result of which the contractors could continue with interior finishing works and once the façade glasses were received, the shrink wraps were replaced with the glasses. The project was completed quickly to protect the premises and develop confidence in the construction industry that SAS International can cover large buildings. |
