| Project Scope & Services Provided: | Challenge: SAS was approached by a leading Government Entity to do preservation packing of their oil rigs at their onshore facility in UAE. Solution: SAS proposed anti-corrosive VCI treatment of the sensitive parts of the rig and there after preservation packing with Dr. Shrink wrapping of the cargo. Results: Successfully cold stacked and shrink-wrapped the rigs, gaining the client’s confidence. The interiors and sensitive parts were protected with VCI treatment and exterior weather protection was provided by shrink wrapping the rig parts. |
