| Project Scope & Services Provided: | Challenge: The boxes supplied by previous vendors were not able to withstand the pressure while belly lifting with a crane and used to get damaged. We were required to design and fabricate boxes which was suitable for both lifting by both crane and forklift. Solution: SAS proposed a unique customized design that was designed for both fork lifting and crane lifting. 200 boxes were supplied to the customer. The wooden boxes were 12 meters long and 1.2 meter wide capable to pack & lift the heavy pipes. Results: Successfully supplied the boxes, thereby extending SAS International’s market footprint in the UAE oil & gas sector. The project lasted six months, winning the customer’s confidence for future business. |
